- There is an opening in the top casing where you may thread through a bendable piece (like a pipe cleaner) for over the bridge of your nose.
- There's an opening in the liner to insert the safe filter of your choice.
- You can shorten or replace the elastic earloops.
- These masks may be reversible if you don't mind the opening in the casing showing.
- Hand wash with gentle soap is preferred. Rinse thoroughly. (Masks may be machine washed, though the color will hold longer if washed by hand.)
- After I've soaped and lathered and rinsed thoroughly, I fold mine in half along the seam and roll.
- Then I squeeze out all the water and hang to dry.
- If you have some difficulty threading your wire through the casing, touch up the seam with an iron to flatten it out and that should do the trick.
- Mold it to the bridge of your nose.
- Use only safe materials to add as a one time use liner. Fold to size.
- Options include:
- Tissues
- Coffee filters
- Blue shop towels
- Avoid using vacuum bags as they may contain fiberglass.
* Don't touch your face or the outside of your mask while wearing it.
* Any mask should be removed carefully and folded in half before washing.
* Wash your hands after handling.
